    New Project

    i just bought an 86 S-10. my plan is to put the 305 i have laying around in it right now. eventually i will have a 5.3 in it.
    has any one done a v8 conversion in an s 10?
    what can i expect to run into?

    Yeah my first ride was a 89 s-10 blazer my father and I put a 305 in. It was pretty sweet! You'll be happy with the end result.

    i got to ride in one about 2 years ago and i loved the hell out of the truck.
    truck - 300
    motor - 50
    trans - 100
    conversion kit - 300
    less than 800 in a fast toy = priceless

    just a little update...got the motorand trans out, stripped the interior, and took the bed off. hopefully this weekend i can get the frame cleaned up and painted.

    That looks nice. its coming along. How much power you expect outta the engine.
