Taylor's truck was a real project. We took a donor 2000 pu and put the 5.3l and trans with wiring harness and all in the 82. We used every wire and module from the 2000 on the 82. The steering column and all switches, brake switch, body control module, and cluster. All the wiring was used to allow us to have the daytime running lights and the auto lighting. The door latch system was used so we could use the security system. We put the 2000 fuel pump module in the 82 tank. He's got cruise control and tow/haul, I used the 2000 wiper motor so we could use the column switch. He is got a 2000 pu with the old school 82 look. We will prob get him a cam, programmer, headers and he might get a turbo later. It's got a cold air intake now. The trans will get overhauled and a converter. He's got to wait for the ok from Mom first, He is only 14. My truck will only get a set of 20" factory wheels.
