Ask Quik if low 12's are possible with a 4.8! It's possible, it would just take a lot of supporting mods to get there. FMIC, good stall, meth, cam, 10-12psi and some sticky tires!! The good thing is that it can still be street friendly and pushing 500 HP.

2004 Silverado Crew Cab, forged iron 5.7, STS w/MP turbo, 10+ psi, FMIC, Tial 50mm BOV, Vic Jr, Snow performance meth, MTI Stealth cam .220/.220 .581/.581 115lsa, Comp chromoly pushrods, Yank TT3000 stall, LS1 Efans, 160 tstat, Trucool 40k trans cooler, 60# injectors, Walbro fuel pump, Patriot springs, Built 4l65E w/billet input & output shafts, Eaton posi, SD tuned...all installed by Klein North Automotive

4.8s will make some serious power with the right turbo and cam. Parish used his Gtech and seen mid 11s with his 4.8 and a 76mm turbo

"be a man and step up to a turbo" tht truck will be night and day. Your motor is still young and it will support big boost. Swap some 241s on there and go large on boost. 18 is were i last quit cause i ran out of injector. in spring time i have every intention of making a few passes on 18.

on 18 psi Casper went high 10s, a 4.8 is right behin that, i dont see a overheated Maggie getting close to that
    2002 Lightning - GT headed 5.5Litre w/ Twin 7665s
    2002 Silverado - 427Lsx w/ Twin gt4202s
    2010 Silverado crewcab Z71 - 5.3litre w/ procharger
    2000 Wrangler - 5.3litre with some stance
    2014 Xsport- 3.5 Eco boost
    412 Motorsports

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference

I think KB has and excellent product. i have his first Steel Log manifold and i push 18 with a 88mm turbo. I did my own pipes, but if i wasnt me i would buy Kyles in a heartbeat.
