    resurfaced my parking lights

    they were looking horribly old and yellow so i took reds advice and sanded them down.

    used 800 grit then 1000 then rubbing compound.

    the pic really doesn't show how yellow the one on the right is but if you have an obs you know what they look like.
    very happy with the results.

    Looks good....also looks like you may need to repaint your bumper...there are quite a few chips in that thing!

    Looks real good. Put a nice coat of clear over it and that would make it shine.

    thanks, i need to have the whole truck repainted really, i will once i get all my other work done on it.

    you could have just used colgate toothpaste. i seen it one 2 guys garage and it really does work. rub in and rub off a couple times and itll make them look like new again. I even tried it on my moms sebring headlights and it made them like new!

    if i would have known that i probably still wouldn't have because my neighbor was outside, might as well start waxing my truck with ice cream too. slice of bread as the applicator of course. lol

    NO I dont think wax would get it done. It doesnt have clear on it so I dont think it would do anything. You could try.

    oh i believe you, its an abrasive polishing compound. they look good now so im happy with them. i may try that on the tail lights. as long as nobodys around.
