    radio install

im installing an aftermarket radio on my 99 silverado. i removed the factory radio and now im putting the new one on but theres an extra conector next to the antenna what do i do with the extra connector, what is it for. the factory radio has theft lock, and scv system which raises the volume automatically when the inside noise is disturbed. any help would be greatful. im kinda pissed because i ordered the wire harness from crutchfield but they wont help me out because i didnt order the radio from them. there tecnical support is bulls**t.

I know that there must be some sound shops in S.A. I don't think they'd charge you for goin in and askin them. They'll probably just walk out and help you.
That being said I know nothing

There's no magic in a 99 radio swap. If there is a 2nd, small, square connector it's to hook up the CD or any oher AUX input to the factory head. It only starts to get tricky in '03.
