Stomped on a Volvo

Today I was coming home from college and decided I would go up through the main part of town, so I could do a little christmas shopping. When I pull up to the light a 2005 Volvo S40 T5 AWD pulls up and starts reving the hell out of its engine. I guess he seen the cowl hood and wanted to see what his brand spankin new car would do. So I'm like, "Sure why not," so I give my engine a couple good revs, and at green we're off. That sucker is gone at the light, and i'm spinning tires like crazy. I finally catch traction and boom i'm on him almost instantly, he had a good two car lengths, but I passed him up at around 85. Guess those things don't have very good top end

Anyways, he still keeps his foot on the peddle, so I go ahead and keep mine on it. I'm pegged out at a 100, and couldn't tell how fast my truck was going, but I know I kept 3 lengths on him the whole time. Finally, I get tired of wasting my gas and let off he comes flying by and doesn't even bother to look over and give the thumbs up.
I suppose he was pissed that he just wasted 40 grand for nothing.

Ooooh i bet you feel cool, you beat a volvo j/k good kill. I thought i was gonna beat up on a volvo a couple weeks ago, older model station wagon started revvin like crazy then just shot away. got a chance to talk to the guy it was a stroked 2.5 with a huge gt42r garrett turbo on it said it "only" had about 400 h.p.
