    Angry Mass Airflow Sensors at ´99 LS1 engine

    For my LS1 project, I would like to know, do I need to use Mass Airflow Sensor??
    And maybe which....

    Only few people in DK, had build LS- enigens into there cars, and I got different answer, then i ask

    you dont need the MAF but if you decide to not use one you will need to have it tuned for no maf. You could use a vette one or a truck one which are 85mm but will also need a tune for those. for the Ls1 you need the car style maf and certain year maf's supposly ready differently for the computer. so best bet run the 99 maf if you have one

    or a used one at ebay..

    I am not 100% sure, but 98-2002 LS1 MAFs are interchangeable. Here is one on Ebay.
