    Missing his nuts

Buddy of mine told me this morning that he was missing his nuts.
I told him to ask his wife
Any ways he has a 2000 GMC z71. The nuts fell off the passenger side cv mounts on the frame and cross member. Anyone know how ALL of them came off at the same time? Or How he can fix this problem? Can he still drive it home?

In 2WD for a short trip the top picture would probably be OK but I can't really tell what the bottom one is.

Bottom one is me underneath the cv looking up at the frame. Its just another bolt that holds the cv mount on. You can shake the whole shaft around. its just kinda hanging out.
No work done... he drives down dirt roads which might have something to do with it.

I crawled under mine for some perspective. Looks like the cast bracket for the RH axle tube is loose from the frame and the tube is loose from the bracket. I'd probably go to the hardware store and gets some bolts for that before driving too far.

My two cents: Use Grade 8 bolts and replace both sides. If one side worked it's way loose, the other side might do the same.
