Thread: STS on Silverado

    We installed an STS kit on a '02 Silverado Monday. We ususally do f-bodies so this was a welcome change. The truck kit is by far easier than the f-body kits.
    The truck sounds great; lots of turbo noise. The customer loved it. No dyno numbers as we used a pre-tuned pcm from Alan. The truck ran great and sounded great. Numbers should be in the 330/380 range for a stock 5.3. I am wanting to do a reg cab 5.3 with a few mods. It should

    Thats awesome, when I get back from afghanistan Im going to look into one of those for my LS1 91 Cheyenne. Hopefully I can rig something up. Post some 1/4 mile times and viseos.
    Had a 91 SB, Open diff, 3.08 gears, stock LS1/T56. 14.8@95.9...sold.
    Now, 90 C1500 350tbi/NV3500....just bought a 5.3...need T56, Swap parts.....

    Hopefully I'll have one on my '92 GMC soon. Got the block to start the motor, but things will still go slow. This turbo thing is expensive
