    CTS-V Round 2

    Last night I met up with some friends of mine. We were gonna head out to to this secluded road to do some dig runs, but they said it was too dark and since its out on a ranch road theres hardly any light. So I told them we should do some freeway runs. It was me, the CTS-V, and a 580+hp TT nissan300. Only raced the cts, and not the nissan

    Here is Round One of me vs. the CTS-V. This was back in the summer I think.

    Now im running 10lbs. He still has the same setup.

    ANYWAY..

    Went out on the freeway. Both had passangers. He wanted a 40 punch. (Worst spot in my truck to do a roll run. Its like the bottom of second for me) Put it in third, honked it off, and he jumped out to about half a car immediately. I built boost pretty fast, hit 10, and started closing the gap. By 85-90 I had a slight fender, but 125 I had half a truck. AFter 125, I could see aerodynamics playing a big factor and he was inching back up. we shut down about 130 with me still ahead.

    Second run was from a 55ish. I put it into third, honked it off three times, and he only jumped out a tiny bit. Made up the gap, his bumper was at my rear bumper by about the same speed, and by 125 he started to inch up.

    So I got him twice with only 5 more pounds.

    After the run we are heading back to his house, and we stop in this church parking lot down the road to talk for a bit. We head out of the parking lot, and im the last to leave. By the time I get to the stop sign to take a left my buddies are already going down the dead end road to my friends house. As I look in my rear view I see this car coming up fast while im sitting at the stop sign. I decided to do the two second wait, with my blinker on and take a left. I immediately notice its a cop and so I just slow my roll down and do about 28 all the way to my buddies house while the cop follows. The cop is hanging back a ways so I figure he wont pull me over.

    Right when I get to the gated entrance my friend lives at, I put my blinker on, and he flips his lights. Im like ****. So I pull off to the side. He comes over, gets me out of the truck and starts bullying me trying to get me to ive him the gate code for the house and the names of the guys in the caddie and nissan. I tell him I dont know over and over. Three more cops show up, and im like well damn. He straight up told me he didnt see me doing anything, and I was like, because I wasnt. He said the caddie and the nissan were hauling ass through the parking lot of the church and I laughed and said no they werent.

    They tell me to call the two guys out from the house on the phone so they can talk to them. So the guys come out and they try to bully us for a little more. They end up getting a call for an assault on the other part of town and the guys running from the cops so three of them head out and leave one. After a bunch of questioning he lets us go.

    Ends up one of the neighbors called on us because I guess our cars our loud. I dunno it was hilarious because I know they didnt see me or anyone racing because we werent. We were in Mexico racing.

    Woulda been cool to see vids of round 2, but nice job david...those cts-v's are definatly not slow! Awesome kill!

    Damn thats impressive! Hey I really do race in Mexico! Theres a nice track they just built like 15 mins across the border. Do you ever go to the roll racing meets on the north side where you are at?

    Not yet. I was too slow to go when I was at 5. Ive seen them out there. But once I get a couple more pounds, and get some confidence ill head out there. Just dont wanna jump in the lions den right away haha

    id really like to get off this stock lift cam, and find something with something to get me into the upper RPMs. that will be soon enough though

    Thats why I hate racing at night. To risky. Nice job though.

    Well let me knw when ya do! I actually think i saw your truck one night on Congress ave during the rat rod rally back in april. I took dwn sme trans ams and mustangs at the roll racing deal but I got nothing for the big dogs out there
