Fastest LS truck in my town (for now)

Out at where all the races in my area go down out (bout a 2 mile straight stretch in the back woods) hanging up signs for missing dogs. Minding my own and here comes Kenton (fastest LS truck in town) Pulls up asks how the truck is to which I explain its doin ok. And I tell him once I get some DR or slicks me and him need to run them to see where Im at. He proclaims well my tires arent hookin up at all either. Lets run them for the fun of it. About this time a early 90s vette pulls up and kenton is laughing. Apparently he JUST smoked the vette on his way to where I was. So I just go alright lets play. We pull up to the marked off line Warm the tires over. I tell him to honk. Well neither of us hooked up in first so I let off and got back in it and pull by about a length while he stayed in it spinning. When we both shifted to 2nd mine stayed planted and didnt spin (22s saved me there) but his broke traction again and I put another length on him. When we crossed the line he was comin up fast but I got him by a half.

Let all the air out, makes them a lot lighter.

If we both were on slicks and normal rims I think he would pull me by a length or so. His truck has a much better cam set up and dyno tuned. Hince the (for now) cause as soon as he gets better tires we are going to do it again and he SHOULD get me.
