Thread: need info for 4x4 drop

    need info for 4x4 drop

    would like to drop 05 4x4 2" front 3 or 4 " rear! what would be the best cost effective way to do so? would like to spend around 500.00 any info would be great. can i do this with keys in front and leafs in rear? thanks

    keys in front, shackles and removing the 1" block under the rear axle will get you 3" in the back

    I had 2 inch blocks on my truck. 99-07 classic have about a 2 inch blocks so with shackles it will be about 4 inches. Then the drop keys will match what you have in the rear.

    On mine I removed the factory blocks, put 2" shackles on it and now I removed the overload spring. As far as the front goes, I decranked the bars as much as I can, but I'm going to use the stock 2500 keys as I've heard they allow 2" of drop.

    i would do 2" drop srindles in the front or youll be kicking yourself in the a** because your truck rides like sh**
