Sign up for airborne school. Its a trip. then do Air assault. Even if you don't make it through ranger school, which a lot don't, you'll still have some decoration. Helps come promotion time. You going in as an E-1? I hope not. But if you are don't fret... E2-E4 come quick. look for the green to gold program too.
Personally I would advise letting your asvab scores make your career choice. Think about your future. If you get out... Not a lot of civilian soldiers. You can get into the police, fire, or similar pretty easy... but If you score high enough you can get a job in the army... learn it and make a killing in the civilian world. FREE ASVAB Test Preparation - Short and Full-length Practice Tests, Study Guide and Tips <<< this will help you a little on the test.
List of United States Army careers - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia <<<< This is a complete list of jobs... A lot of them can earn you serious $$$ in civy life.
EDIT
I like 12M, 63B or now called 91B, all the 15's. 31B is OK. 40c is kinda a joke. 42's are the band geeks. 60's are in high demand in civy life. stay away from 79r if you can.

I cant say that I have been through what you will go through. But If you have college already, why not finish first? I know everyones situation is different. But what do you want to do with your life? How old are you? How much college do you have? Army can get you a lot of $$$ for college and other things as well as pay for old SL's... but if you plan on getting out ASAP... I would find a MOS that has a short term... Some of them are only 3 years. Some are more. My bro got 6 years on his. If you join 11B you could be gone for as long as they want to keep you. And if there is a conflict... that could be a long time. To join the ARMY is a very big choice. What job you choose is even bigger. Even if you wash out of Basic... which a lot of people do, you are still 10 pegs above a normal guy because you had the balls to try. And remember that nothing is in stone. Dont let your recruiter talk you into anything... I dont care if he is your best friend... he doesn't know whats best for you. only you do. If he tells you the MOS that you want is full, or doesn't ship for 2 years... tell him you'll wait. You are not obligated to do JACK until you sign the contract. which can be nulled.
Just remember what the Zen master says...

Oh and also my degree is for automotive repair but i dont want to do it for a living, thats why i joined

yeah... they get a ''bonus'' for each recruit. the sooner you go... the less likely you are to change your mind. Tell him No... but that you want to explore your options on other MOS's... Did you take the ASVAB yet? and if you get a degree... why the hell are you joining? I dont wanna hear to be patriotic...lol What is you degree major? Oh your Friend also gets a ''Bonus'' for BFing you too. Oh and the recruiter is using what is know as a High pressure sales tactic... you dont have time to really think about what you want. Like when you go to the dealership an see that cool car... but dont pay attention to the price AFTER ttl. then you realize that you didnt really want this car but your stuck in it for a 6 year finance at 14%apr.

I did tell him no, i always have put the recruiters in the same category as car salesmenMy degree is in Automotive repair and i have already been a tech at a toyota stealership for about two years and a tech at a tuning shop and i just realized that its going to burn me out to the point where i dont want to work on my own projects soooo...... i dont want to make that my career, and ive always thought about the military since High school but i just saw this as the right time for me to get some real direction in my life, do a good service for this country that has given me all of these opportunities, and hey...make a little money to fund my projects to boot........i dont know ive been thinkin about an LS7 for one of my trucks........
