Congrats man, I remember that feeling! Landed in San Diego went to the USO, and waited for my ride to hell. My life flashed before my eyes, the DI's scared the s**t out me. "GET ON MY BUS, LEFT HAND LEFT KNEE, RIGHT HAND RIGHT KNEE, EYES FRONT", "GET OFF MY BUS, GET ON THE YELLOW FOOT PRINTS, STAND UP STRAIGHT, SHOULDERS BACK, EYES FRONT"! OMG what did I get myself into.......

I went Marines right outta High School. Like the guys said before all physical and then they try to get in your head. Once they break you down they build you back up. Have fun and enjoy it..... Nothing like telling Boot Camp stories!

I enlisted my Jr year in highschool and went over summer before my senior year. When I made it to my barracks about 1000 steam engines after the bus ride. A guy across from me in the hall looked about 30 years old. He started crying. I wanted to laugh but knew better. I knew right then I would have no problem. I made it. He didn't. I saw my first American convert to Muslim. Dude was weird. The drills hated him.

I stayed in the middle of the pack. The drills didn't know my name till graduation. Don't volunteer for anything and when they ask you ain't got no drivers license.
