    tbss

    well the tranny is covered under the 5 year 100k warranty and I don't keep cars more than 3 so I am good there .

    Not to mention worse mileage and higher insurance.

    mileage is not great on a tb to being with at 16.7 mpg average between city and highway

    9-10! my 408 gets that! Is it really that bad of millage i got 16-17 highway stock and 14-15 with my cam and converter in my 6.0 and my truck is heavier. i just cant see it being that bad

    I think it depends on how you drive lol...

    I have talked to owners who get 16 mixed which is about what i get but then I am buying a 6.0L v8 I don't expect 29 lol - if that were true I would kiss an engineer!

    BTW I took the plunge

    lol - soccer mom. That is any explorer - so far so freaking great I love this thing.


    i actually had to take a short trip to erie - mileage was not so aweful 14.9 combined my old inline6 got 16.4 combined...
