    Hello Jeff,
This might be a dumb ? --- but do you have your PCV hooked up yet? Looks like the [ Positive Crankcase Ventilation ] valve is not working. Normal water vapor and oil makes that goo. The PCV valve vacuum cleans the inside of your engine.
I remember 1953 235" Chevy 6 banger that had a Road Draft Tube. It came out of the block above the oil pan-- up about 10" then turned down below the oil pan flange to catch the wind to suck out the fumes.

    just my

That should be connected to the intake with the valve on the end of the tube that slides in the valve cover. That moisture is just collecting and not getting thru the intake to be burned off in the A/F mix.

well ,i have a 6.0 and it has the oil pressure issue and condensation ,my motor is a 07 with less than 10 k on it.it idles warm at 30-35 psi ,as soon as i hit the pedal though it immediately raises and stays theyre until im at idle again.i am beginning too think its a problem with these motors tho.ive seen it on alot of them.jeff , idont think the oil pressure issue and the condensation issue are the same for you ,if anything i would def,say 2 diff things.same for me.i empty my catch can ,minimum 1 a week and theyres plenty of water in it and some oil .i used -10 lines to my catch can ,and all that did was stop the smoke at red lights when i stop.and took away alittle stink.anyway you guys arent alone id like to stop the condensation issue also.ive been fortunate not too have the caramel **** you guys have ,but the condensation alone is sickning.good luck ,ill sure be happy too figure it out also.

I dont have a pcv anymore. It was dumping oil in my intake at a high enough rate to make the oil go low. I have 5/8 barbs to 5/8 hose that goes to a catch can. Can has a filter on top. I have also tried the seafoam approach. I did two oil changes with it. Oil came out dirty as hell both times. But I still get a little crisco. But no were near as much. I think removing the baffles helped a lot too.

yeah, Thanks george. But Gen3 is having a different problem. He is burning oil at an alarming rate. 1 quart for 4 hours of driving. And coolant at the same rate about. I think his might be a gasket or a piston ring problem. That would explain the caramel for him...

All i need it to do is last till March and thats what im going to do. It still runs great the weird thing is it hasnt burned oil like that since 3weeks ago when I went to SC. But the coolant is the same way will be ok for about 2weeks then it needs some more.
