    vortec max heads

I looked around and havent found out what heads are on the 07 6.0l trucks.
My friend is about to buy a used 07 vmax and would like to know the head casting numbers. I know my 07 hoe has 799s, is the max the same?
    Thanks guys

Tell your friend to go up to the dealership, pop the hood and look.

You should be able to clearly see the head stamping on the pasngr
side head towards front of engine.

Ill tell him to look. Its actualy a private seller, but we were just curious to see what heads GM put on those engines.

I really hate the OBS, NBS, NNBS BS. Silly really.

There are GMT900 Max's.....I know where one with a completely blown 4L70E is...LOL

The easiest way to find out is look at the head number. Someone bump this in the morning or PM me and I'll look at the NBSBNBSS Max we have waiting for a trans.....

It's a 2007 newest body style 2WD 1/2 ton MAX with a Y code 6.0 and 5364 on the heads where the numbes are on other LS engines.

    Does that help?
