    Oil filler cap breather?

On PT.net trevor1t put a breather filter on his filler ap and I think it looks b.a., but I just want some opinions whether it would hurt anything or not, I have a catch can filtering the pcv from the driver's v-cover. Just thought it would help a little more? Give any ideas...good, bad, or in between!

Can't hurt. I have one 2 on mine and 2 passenger side valve covers with a breather in each. I am turbo charged though.

when i was NA and other NA setups ive done. i take the stock oil cap and go down to advance auto parts pick up their breather that is about 12 bucks. drill a hole in the oil cap the size of the neck on the breather. insert the breather and "right stuff" it solid. no issues and alot cheaper then the Metco filter

but remember if you use a breather you should add another one on the driverside and totally ditch the PCV setup and cap any ports going to the motor. motor has to vent thru the breathers for thsi to work properly and you wont need a catch can

reason you see my turbo build and others using a catch can breather. if you look closely youll see the catchcan breather im talking about

this is cause a boosted motor pushes alot more air into the crankcase and has little more blowby past rings so it needs a way to catch the oil being pushed, the breather just vents the motor just as the NA motor does but just using larger ports to breath

Haha that's crazy you used that setup, becuase it's the same thing I did tonight...$10 auto store breather, drilled through the filler can and I ended up using a 3/8" threaded fitting to hold the 2 together, but where'd you get those fuel rail covers on the first pic...they look amazing and I want some now!!!
