That's a bummer, i believe there is a clutch type band thingy in there, maybe that went out,
How did his tranny break, did he burn the clutches up, if so, maybe it has material in it.

It's hard to figure out how the converter went on wrong, all the times i put mine on, there was only one way it would fit, and it had to be straight in order for it to line up right and for the bolts to go in. oh well

maybe you can get your money back, hehehe, I got the 2600 yank and i really didn't like how low it stalled anyway, when my trans went, i had it refinned and that increased the stall a little bit, it's a little better
