Very Capable. You would just need a built tranny behind it, a tune, and a few other minor things! I think a few members on here have done LS Swaps and have had little trouble with them.

a 5.6 is nissan's new engine they put into their fullsize trucks. but maybe he meant 5.7 cause he called it a vortec. no such thing as a 5.6 vortec unless he bored his 5.3 lol

god this is confusing. his name is 01sierraman, and they didnt put 5.7's in 01's. its the same as mine. 6.0 or 5.3 or 4.8 or 4.3. prolly 5.3 is what he meant
