Take an ice pick (or similar punch) and tap it down between the tube and block. Push in towards the center of the tube while you're tapping. This will release some of the tension on the tube. Then take needle-nose pliers and grab the tube at the tap location. Carefully wiggle, twist, and pull. It should come out.
