I've seen new trucks with an extra bolt in the oil pan that won't fit through the drain hole when the oil is being changed.
Yes, extra....no problem with the truck except the extra bolt.
I only knew that mine was broke after my rebuild, when I did the first oil change and the 2" piece was stuck to the drain bolt magnet. Came right out.

I gave up and just put some silicone on mine and bolted the tube in place. A year later, it hasn't moved, hasn't leaked. Kinda shady for my liking, but it did the job. I have a spare tube if I ever get around to fixing it.![]()
