Pinon up angle should match transmission tail housing down angle .But on a lowered truck like yours, you will see the pic as your rear-end being the one closer to teh top in this picture.
I have western chassis 4-6 on my 91 excab longbed, shock extenders, and some brand of air shocks on the back. No problems from when i remember driving my truck last, oh two years ago.
I have shims on the back never had any real problems with it. I checked out your pictures on FSC, lemme take a look at my truck in teh morning and get back to ya.
I looked back at those pictures, and that looks kinda crazy adjusting the pinion angle like that...i'm pretty sure my setup looks different.
