The PLX crap is pretty pricey. But it's nice. The swivel pod was a whole $6 from Glowshift.
Will the swivel pod work with the AEM guage NP sells?

Yeah - it should fit any 2-1/16" gauge.
There's a singular 1/4" hole for the wire to exit the pod. Problem with the PLX is everything is fused...the plug and the back of the gauge. So I had to wind up cutting a slit the length of the pod - from the front to the hole. But the swivel parts screws together and basically clamps it so it isn't noticeable.
