No. It's not... A fetus is not a person. As for Terry Schiavo, if someone is in a persistent vegetative state with no chance of recovery why should they be forced to live? In addition why should a person who's life wrought with constant suffering (i.e. terminal illness) be prolonged? Is that not a fate worse than death?

I disagree with a fetus being a person.
A fetus is a human life. Once that sperm is in that egg. The real problem is people use abortion as birth control. I am not a bible thumper at all but I disagree with abortion except when it will endanger the mothers life or rape/incest. I do feel stupid people should not breed.

I do agree with your own right to die. The state really should only invesitgate it and make certain that it really is that persons wishes.
