pcv bypass filters?

I just installed mine and can see a slight amount of steam or smoke coming out both sides.. Nothing major, but just thought I would see if anyone else noticed this.. I am anal about this stuff most people might not even recognize it but it is annoying to me.

you will also see a waxy build up inside the filter. I just put pcv valves on both sides. driver side was getting a little dark. I figured pcv would be better than a catch can. I could be wrong
