God I cant wait for the election to be over. Then and only then can we as nation calm the hell down and get back to business and it will definetly slow down the banning of members of most forums.
Truthfully politicians all suck. They tell you what you want to hear until they are elected then there ear is turned to big intrest groups...and yes someone will say but these guys (obama and mccain) have both talked about doing away with that. What you forget is that they are but a third of the decision making process. Even if they stay clean and true, how are you going to ensure that the senators (2nd part) and Representatives (3rd part) stay clean. All it takes is 2/3 majority to over rule and presidential veto. So it really doesnt matter...my 2 cents

The only reason Obama doesn't have the political scandal stuff on his record yet, even though the people he is associated with are terrible, is because he hasn't had the political "experience" that McCain has. IMO, the longer someone stays in politics, the more corrupt they become.

I got this in an email from a friend. He says it better than I could.
I have already cast my vote since I will be in the Seattle area on election day. I orginally was NOT going to cast a vote for the President. I don't like Obama at all and Mcain lost my vote when he chose his running mate. As I walked across the street to vote I decided I NEEDED to cast a vote for Mcain just to cancel one of Obama's. So that is what I did.
The biggest problem as to why we are in this mess is WE as AMERICANS have been brianwashed into thinking the one in the oval office controls things. Our schools have stopped educating our kids that the President does NOT make the laws. We need to be changing every other member of CONGRESS. They are the ones that make the laws and spend the money.
Each of the canidates for President this year have LIED to the American people. They all said "when I am President" something will or will not happen (you pick the statement) They have know way of knowing that since CONGRESS will have to decide what will happen. The president has the power of influence but not to create bills.
If the PRESS wanted to CHANGE this country they would get the American people fired up about all the other canidated running for CONGRESS.
We now pour money out to get our position heard many times because we didn't shell out a lot less earlier to get the right people in the offices that make a difference.
To every person that reads this no matter what you think PLEASE get out and VOTE. Voting is STILL an American RIGHT. If we don't excercise that right it won't we long until those that have been voted in take away our RIGHTS. Politics may not be popular BUT this COUNTRY is IMPORTANT enough to me and millions more to open our mouths.

A fetus is a human life. Once that sperm is in that egg. The real problem is people use abortion as birth control. I am not a bible thumper at all but I disagree with abortion except when it will endanger the mothers life or rape/incest. I do feel stupid people should not breed.
I do agree with your own right to die. The state really should only invesitgate it and make certain that it really is that persons wishes.
