you can, but the after market isnt really there on the big blocks. they really dont make more power than a lq9... they make more torque, but get crappy mileage.
they burn alot of oil

There are probably more parts for big blocks than there are LS engines because they've been around so long BUT....
An 8100 is not an average BBC. There are a lot of weirdo things about them compared to an old school BBC. Because of this, there is not much aftermarket support.
They're realllllyyyy heavy too.
humm.. thats what I thought... heavy, not much diff between them and lq9 in hp.. weeell... I guess I will keep lookin for a 6.0L... Thanks pals..
