    thats good to know if i do decied to turbo/supercharge it. i want to see what kind of power i can get just with all motor ya know, no nitrous or turbo

    ok now i get what you mean, 7000 rpms seems alot for a 4.8. ill have to wait and see what this little motor will put out, and if it blows up...then its time for a big block! =)

    I like the idea of smoking someone with a small displacement engine like a boosted 4.8. Reminds me of my old 3.0 2jzgte supra that i used to have.

    Welcome to the site. I have a 454 crankshaft cheap if you go that route.

    Hey Quik, are you old school 7K RPM or against old school - Big Block Chevy...LOL? If it were easy and cheap to always use LS engines, Super Comp dragsters wouldn't have BBC's....
