Good call. Sounds like something I said before.

As far as buildings...say or believe what you want but store owners that put the signs up in Texas that look official are about as strong as the fake alarm signs outside some homes. They cannot force a carrier, licensed or not, to remove weapons before entry.

My dad let his permit expire twice, and the second time around he had to pay his lawyer $3900 to help him get it back.

In SC I can't carry in.....churches, gov't buildings, banks, polling booths, restaurants with alcohol (even if not drinking), and I must get permission to carry in someone's personal residence.. That's a long list.

I think it's a very good possibility guzzler that the gov't could use these lists of people to start taking guns, but like lamborado said we practice ground checking, once its dead on the ground check to see what it is. lol. I've been talking to some of my cop friends and most of them are just saying once you give them your DL give them the CWP. Cause you can believe they are carrying even when not on duty.

the lawyer has been dealing with my family for quite awhile now and realized that my pops makes good money so he just charges by the hour (i think $250+) for every damn thing (phone calls, research, signing papers, etc.), so after my dad got the bill for this permit he decided to drop him and start looking for a more reasonable lawyer
