I think the original TIV is based on a Ford (Slowpoke), and the new one is based on a Dodge (Cumapart).
I agree with the Powerjoke...but the Cummins os no joke. It is a stout motor. And they don't come apart at all. How come Cummins offers a 350,000 overhaul warranty when Ford and GM only offer a 250,000 overhaul? HMMM?
