Dude--don;t worry if the truck isn;t pretty. We have several guys who are doing swaps with not-so-pretty trucks. One guy, SCIV, is doing the complete sleeper with his 68 step side. He is keeping the old bucket looking the way it is currently--so don;t feel bad if it is uglier than a mud fence.

There are several places to buy plug and play injectors. You can even buy some 8.1L truck injectors... Depending on what year LS1 you have, they probably came with the 28 lb injectors. Try and get your hands on something in the 30 lb range. 42s would be too much, but they would definitely do the job...
Yeah. I was told that 42's would be too much fuel for the setup. The heads are 2001 castings. Engine shop did a pocket porting job and blended the bowls. So i will be getting decent flow out of a stock casting head. I am thinking about leaving the truck the way it sits and also going for the sleeper look. I have the "general" cancerous spots on the truck i.e. wheel wells and cab corners and the notorious late 80's early 90's scratch and peel GM paint! The truck is going to be a junkyard warrior!
