That's how I dropped my C3. Pulled the 2" lift blocks out using the 2WD u-bolts. Won't effect your ride one bit. Don't forget to remove the extensions on the snubbers too. I also changed my rear shocks to 2WD shocks. If you want a 3" or 4" drop you can use 1" or 2" drop shackles in additon to removing the blocks, but you probably need to shim your rear axle to keep the driveshaft angle correct.
