100 buck w/o brakes but the housing is cracked from some hard off-roading, everything on the inside is good he just swapped it out because it was leaking everywhere. my main question I guess would be do I have the g-80 in mine b/c i don't think i do. it's a reg cab 00 gmc. The rear-end has about 80,000 miles on it.

If the housing is cracked and it leaks, why are you going to buy it???

Yeah, like Nate said...look in the glove box on the label...the G80 should be kinda in the middle of all of the codes...

Stuff on the inside is good just not the housing. I figured get the gears, posi, and axle's then scrap the housing. And the guy went down to 50 b/c he is tired of weed eating around it. I am going to take the cover off of it Wednesday and make sure its all good b/4 I buy it.
