There are a lot of loose ends to accomplish on an OBS to LS conversion. If this truck is your primary mode of transportation, you will definately need an alternate means of getting around. What electric fans are you going with? Who's doing your computer & harness? What exhaust manifolds & exhaust system are you using? What intake air system will you fabricate? Will you be cutting & welding the frame for the stock A/C compressor use, or going with a top mounted passenger side Sanden 508 & bracket & pulleys from Street & Performance? Can you fabricate your own A/C hoses & fittings? Your driveshaft, will it need shortening, like mine did? How clean an installation are interested in? Will you be degreasing & painting the engine bay & forward frame before the install? What high-pressure fuel delivery system & filter will you be installing? Do you have the pin-outs for your donor engine & and transmission wiring info, so you know what to wire? What will you be doing with your ABS brakes function? Etc., etc., etc...

Not really sure on some things. I want as clean of a swap as possible, but keeping an eye on the budget. I guess stock manifolds for now until I can find some headers. I will probably use Nelson for the wiring. I hear it's easier. As far as the A/C, I need to look at the price of the passenger side mounts and pulleys versus modding the frame. I don't know about the ABS, haven't gotten that far yet. I am open to suggestions to make this as painless as possible. I can park the truck to do the swap as I have another car to drive. I want to detail the engine bay while I have it empty. Do you have any pics of your swap I can look at to get an idea of placement? Thanks.
