    a lil offroading

we decided to go out on the parkway to look at the scenery and plan a route for a f-body cruise im planing and while we were out i remembered about an old trail i used to take my dodge on so we dicided to ride through. well we had some fun but never again lol i forgot about what a pain in the ass it is to clean a vehicle after playing in the mud lol. this was the first time the yukon has ever been out in something like this and will be the last but it was fun. here are some pics.

lol i dont think ill be doing that anymore once i lower it! what a pain in the ass to clean though pulled filter off intake covered it with trashbag and had to hose down and scrub the engine bay. i always hated doing it in my dodge i took it in some red clay a few times and that stuff is the worst burns onto the exhaust and stains the piss outa it.

Yeah--mud does stain the exhaust...and it smells like crap for a few days till it burns off. My truck now is my first 2WD--I have always had Z71s since I was able to drive--and I ALWAYS went mudding/off roading. And yes--a PITA to clean...but after doing it once a week for like 7 years, you get pretty good at it. But I usually would leave it on there for a while cause I liked how it looks when its covered in mud...

yea i did it all the time in my dodge. i loved to trail ride but i hated cleaning it afterwards. i too would leave it on for a few days but then it was even more of a pain in the ass to clean lol then i got into some rough places and ripped off the front plate once and about drowned the engine a couple of times and the suspension started making weird noises along with it was begining to get scratched up so i retired it from offroading then traded it in lol

    here is some old pics

Yeah, when I went mudding...the roof was the only thing NOT covered in mud. I got the tailgate too--don't know how! But the roof did sometimes get mud chunks up there--from from doing mud donuts...
