    Good price LS2-T56

I'm looking to swap out my 4.8 for something with a lil more balls. I'm thinkin an ls2 from a GTO or a TBSS. What is a good price to pay for one with all accesories including ECM?

Yeah, I've seen them in the 5-6K range, but I didn't know if that was a lil high or not. I've been contimplating just getting an lq4-9 and puttin in a cam, intake and heads. But then I think I'd be spending just a lil less than what I'd have spent on a ls2 take out. I'm lookin for the most affordable route to put down 500rwhp and I'm not opposed to spray. I know I'm gonna have 10k to play with and I'm plannin on doin all the work with just a lil help from some of my friends. After engine and trans I know I'll have to get a tune, new rear end, brakes and upgrade the suspension. Ya'll think it's possible to do with 10k?

Good to know. So I guess a built 4l80 would be a better way to go with a 3k stall?

Better have a damn nice 60 then. 400 horsies on a stock 60 is pushing it.

Would a 4l60 be suitable if I were to get a perf. rebuild kit, or is there more to it? I just wanna put all the f-bodies and ricers in their proper place. I'm mainly just gonna use it on the streets on weekends. I'm runnin a ECSB

Yeah, I know what you mean. Unfortunately there are no strips around here. Closest one is 90 miles from me.
