    about the lobes? A supercharger is nothing more than an air compressor, shoving air into your manifold/cylinders. A 112 compressor is good for an engine up to and including 6.0, anything larger should go with the 122 or a Gen VI TVS unit of which there are 2, the 1900 and 2300.
    I have a 112 and do just fine with it, probably pushing it just past it's peak efficiency range but it works to push my 5300lb truck into the mid 11's.
