Holy pile of rocks Batman! That sucks to hear! I know it is easy to say that stuff like that can be fixed, but if that happened to my truck, i would have to get it fixed and then sell it. It would never be the same in my eyes...

The truck is now fixed. $2000 worth of front end damage all paid for. Also he got me some new wheels. My wheels werent made anymore so I settled for some 08 tahoe wheels. They are a S*** load heavier tho. Pitman Arm, tie rod ends, wheels, idler arm, realligned, some bolt that broke out. Tires were mounted and balanced also, but a s***ty job on the balancing. Now i have to find time to go get them rebalanced.

Your tires might be shot. Are they the old ones?

Damn--you settled for that? It depends on the style of 08 wheels. Gm has several different types...did you get to pick them out from the dealer? How come the dealer couldn't get it aligned correctly? If no one can get it done right--there might be other stuff messed up that won't allow the alignment to be perfect...

Ummm....I might have missed something but I didn't see where the dealer was involved in the repair or more specifically in the alignment. In fact, I didn't see where the alignment was in question at all. Sounds like it got fixed but the wheel balance was off and he got heavy GM stock wheels. What did I miss?

Thinking the same thing about the dealer. Where did he come from??

S**t that could have been a lot worse.. good thing it wasn't any worse though. So hows your bud that was in the wrx?
