    just want to know about putting colder thermostats in 2004 5.3

    will it make the engine run rich & do you have to reprogram the computer ??

    Yes I think there are low temp thermo's for the '04s. I put a 34" radiator into my truck with a 160° and didn't lose any MPG or cause it to run rich.
