    how many miles? clean the maf and the throttle body, its a starting point

    89k or so miles, cleaned the tb and iac maybe 3000 miles back, haven't cleaned the maf though.....have several cans of electric motor cleaner--that work? Evaporates without residue similar to brake cleaner.......

    It probably would be ok, but throttle body cleaner will work better, plus your engine can burn it and it won't hurt anything.
