Removing the pegs would allow the needle to continue to move on some previous rigs I owned so I imagine it will on these also. I am running an 02 ZO6 cam and my rev limit is set to 6500 and I have hit the limiter several times so I am thinking I will gain about another 500 rpm's on my tach and maybe 10 or so mph on the speedo.
