    i just had fort worth gear and axle install mine they charged 225 i have 875 total in my rebuilt tru trac gears and install kit

    well im going with an Eaton POSI LSD 3:73 and they got me down to an even lower price so im looking at paying about a grand for everything

    i just put 3.90 and a true trac in mine....it wasnt too bad...just time consuming....dont be scared to do it yourself, just take your time and do it right.

    ive never touched my diff only to put fluid in it or change the gasket soo i dont think it would be that easy to do my self plus its 8 hours of labor and they are only charging me 200$$

    That's flat rate pay system for you. 8 sounds a little high....even for a complete overhaul.

    It's book time (flat rate) not actual time. My customer pay labor time guide shows 7.7 hours for a complete overhaul so 8 is not that far off.
