Sticking with the title of the post, and given you are dead set on rear mount here are my thoughts on it. Yes they will sell just he oil pump assembly, but it is way over priced in my opinion. You should be able to get something to work for alot cheaper. Even if they have a patent it does not matter legally unless you try to copy their design and SELL kits. You will want to find a member on the board with an STS setup and find out the Turbo size, Hot and cold sides. After that just get started on setup, you can by a crude pipe bender at harbour freight and do somewhat smooth bends by capping the pipe, fill with soapy water and freeze, if you have a big stand up freazer. The one I have only goes to 2.5 inch pipe though I think.. Other option is to go down to an exhaust shop and have them bend your pipe, or just buy a bunch of bends from jegs and fab it that way. the other parts you can buy off ebay as you get the money. Fab will take a while if you dont work on it full time, so you should be able to pick up peices as you work on fab. I was kicking around buying an STS setup over a year ago and after talking to them on the phone I decided I would rather pick my eyes out with a pencil than deal with them again. So if I ever did a rear mount I would build it myself. Having said all of this if I ever go F/I it will be a single 80 mm front mount!

This is what I started a few years ago. I ended up not finishing it so I'm selling all the stuff. I know I coulda got it finished I'm just not in the position to right now. I spent about 1400-1600 and still had a lil ways to go. Bought a stock mid-pipe and had a flange welded on to that. I don't remember what pics are in this thread cause I can't see them from the work comp

Well, I still needed a tune, bigger injectors, and the proper intake piping (2.25-2.5" instead of 3") so however much that woulda been plus new gears. Probably a good $1k I still have the mid-pipe assembly if anyone's interested. make me an offer +s/h

at least someone is on my side. thanks man
yeah thats really the route im thinking...i get money and buy something i can. if i cant buy anything i need at the moment ill just sit on it and wait another 2 weeks. what would be better to do...the pipe bender at home or buying mandrel u's and j's??? i know the mandrel makes for alot of cutting and welding but its no problem i have a hotrod shop at my office....my boss is a hotrod freak so we have a shop in the back of the building...so cutting and welding is nothing. im not sure if we have our own pipe bender cuz we normally do the mandrels....
im pretty excited! i mean if i can get a set up like that for under 2000 ill be super stoaked

If you're interested I'll get you some more pics of it with close ups of the welds. It's definately not the prettiest thing though. I'll look through my comp and see what pics I still have.
shipping is really a killer with everything these days...yeah i would love to see some pics of it for sure!!! its no problem if the welds arent perfect and its not the prettiest thing on the block....it doesnt need to be pretty to be functional...
