Killed a chevy 5.3

Walked him like a dog. Wasn't too happy, but it's a kill anyhow. I'm stopped at a light he's rolling up. Light turns green and I hear him get on it so I do too. put about 2 lengths on him. We get to the next light and he asks if i gotta chip. I tell him I have the hypertech programmer. He goes on about how he has big tires and such. They were maybe only 33's on some 16in steel rims. Then I stick my head out my window and tell him that my 20's are pretty heavy too. So I ask him if he wants to run from a dead stop and he says sure. I'm on the break for my ghetto launch. Light turns green and we're off, well I was at least. I left him behind and let off the gas about 3 lengths ahead of him at about 55mph. He was in an ext cab like mine but with a 5.3 said it was all stock but he at least had exhaust.

Must have been on spray. Do you roll around ready to spray? I wish I could get traction on the street on motor!

on a ecsb 5.3 with a hypertech, intake, exhaust I pulled by about 3-5 at arround 65mph... without spray. Good kill for N/A race

No spray, My line got burnt through when my PA system shorted out, and I'm running a POS intake I made outta thin aluminum pipe, rubber gasket, a K&N filter that's too small, and part of an airaid intake. My truck's ghetto right now. AND the winshield's got a big ****ing crack

Heh, he was probably already in abuse mode by the time you all raced from a dig. Nice kill, You should have told him to get a nelson tune and he would school you next time!

That's the funny thing. I don't really have anything under the hood. 4.8 with the hypertech programmer. I don't have the 160 stat anymore, had to replace the water pump and they put on a newer one so my old stat wouldn't work. I cut out the passenger side corner reflector and have the filter sitting right there by it. Bottom line is my truck is still way too slow. and it looks like ass now.
