Actually no, You will not pick up anything on your E.T. Reaction time has nothing to do with your quarter mile time. However getting your reaction time down will get you the win light more often. If you think about it this way, if you are leaving 6 tenths behind the other lane you will have to run at least 6 tenths faster to even tie him to the finish line, not that this will affect your E.T., but it will affect the outcome of the race. The timer does not start until your front wheels leave the staged beams and stops when you break the beams at the quarter.

ahhh i see. well that makes a little more sense then. i just went and did test and tune so i wasnt really concerned with beating the other guy. although i did beat all the 3 vehicles i raced some old cuda, my buddies dodge, and gmc

heh, yeah it certainly helps out when you are racing someone faster to be on top of reaction time. Like I said you can actually beat a faster vehicle by hole shot! And when you are at the track all people care about is who is out front!
