    well, if bankers spec sheet is right.

    then the LS1 camshaft should be good for 30-40hp, am I reading it right? This considers the 5.3 at 290hp and based on the fact both seem to share simillar head flow, subtract .4 liter.

    any confirmation on the 2003 5.3 power ratings, Im getting all kinds of numbers?

    You can't base the HP difference on the camshaft alone. There's also tuning and compression to take into account. As I stated in my first post, based on the valve timing difference, you can expect a 15-20 HP increase. Opt for the LS6 cam and the numbers go up to 25-30 HP.

    Is there a dyno graph anywhere of the stock 5.3 vs a 5.3 with any of these camshafts?
