I've been checking out this site and decided to join. I'm in the Dallas TX area and just bought a 2004 RCSB 5.3 Silverado. As soon as I sell my old 2000 Silverado I'm going to start doing a few minor mods. This site has a lot of good information on these trucks.

Welcome. When you say minor mods are you talking about an STS Turbo?

No STS, I'm probably going to stay natrally aspirated.
I'm seriously thinking cat-back, air intake, and Preditor or Nelson tune. I'm considering headers and cam, but am undecided. I will be keeping a eye out for the '05 electric fans swap info.
I would really like to swap a 345HP 6.0 into my truck. But it seems a little silly to buy a brand new truck just to remove the motor. I've seen the 345HP crate motors advertised for $3,789. Any other mods needed to make the 6.0 HO swap work. Computer upgrade, fuel system upgrade etc? Looks like it could be a simple bolt-in.

Sounds like a good starting list.
