    Exhaust: cat removal?

Right now I have Thorley tri-Y headers that go right into magnaflow cats then 2 into 1 collector, super 44 flowie then it dumps out the side.
What do I need to do to be able to remove the cats without throwing DTC's from the rear o2 sensors?
Ive seen o2 simulators in the past but Im not sure if thats the right or good way to do it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I looked over the Nelson website but couldnt find anything that said
doing the ECM tuning kept the truck OBD2 emissions compliant.
What do you do when emissions time rolls around? Send the ECM back fora re-tune?

Technically, removing the rear 02's, and cats, makes it illegal. Now lets say in your ''Racing'' season, you want to run no cats and a setup that isn't compliant. When ever your ''Racing'' season is over, you'll need to replace the cats and stock tune to drive on the roads legally. I have heard of shops passing vehicles with no cats on inspection, But thats a big no no. Also I have heard that because the CEL is off, it will pass obdII inspection. I have heard that some people don't check under the vehicle to see if cats are there. Big no no. I have also heard of bribing the inspector to pass you, but you can get into big trouble, and the inspector could be fined $10,000 dollars and loose licence. I have heard...

    Thanks for the info
I should have stated my question better.
The visual inspection is no big deal, just bolt the cats back in place and leave the rear O2's there for looks.
I was just curious that when they plug in their scanner for testing, they might see that the CEL is off (rear O2's) that they would fail the vehicle.
Does any one have first hand experience with this?
