Man, I seem to have my 1-2 upshifts on the tach around 5300rpm but when Allen tuned my truck it was set for about 5800rpm for the 1-2 and like 5700 for the 2-3.

Anyone logged to see what the deal is with the stock tach in these trucks?

I have AutoTap Enhanced...just no more laptop.

Yeah the stock tach is kinda slow. Allens got mine shifting at 5900 1-2 and the tach shows 5700 and the 2-3 he has set at 5800 and the tach shows 5600. I was actually on my way back home when I noticed and called him up and he said the tach was kinda slow but he would re-flash it if I wanted so I said I'd live w/ it...Zed

Yep, it's normal, I have the 1-2 shift at 6250 RPM and the stock tach shows 5900-5950, and I don't want to spend money on a aftermarket tach so I'll live with it.
